How did you get here?
We moved here from SF in summer of 2005. We knew we wanted to leave the Bay Area and we had always had a city crush on Portland, so we gave our landlord notice and drove up to Portland to check it out for the first time ever. I was lucky enough to get my resume in Michele’s hands by means of a woman I worked with at Chiat\Day. I interviewed and was asked to get in touch once I moved up here. We drove back to SF. On the 4th of July we packed a Uhaul and made it to Portland by midnight. One week later I was freelancing on Starbucks.
Who/what inspires you?
Fresh ideas, artists of all types and all over the place, travel
What do you work on here at Wieden+Kennedy?
Levi’s
Easy question, what do you outside of work?
Camp, hike, ski, snowshoe…get outside with the dogs
What’s a random, fun fact that others would love to hear?
Lucky for my mom, I was so chubby and lazy as a baby that I didn’t walk until I was 18 months old.
What do you love to do?
Travel
See some of Lis’s little loves in the sun:

If you could interview one other person in the studio, who would it be and
why? Kennedy, he counts as part of the studio, right?
