How did you get here?
Across the nation, through some hell. Philly to Portland, roughly 2800 miles.
Who/what inspires you?
Being somewhere new
The open road
The Paris Roubaix
The Giro d’Italia
Hand painted trucks in India
Hand painted signs in general
The Gorillia Biscuits
Pennsylvania Dutch Hex signs
And most of all, people that are really motivated…
Here are some of my most favorite people and or blogs:
AND a few documentaries that made my mind melt:
La Course de Tete (Eddie Merckx rules. Total inspiration)
Who is Bozo Texino (about old timers and freight trains)

What do you work on here at Wieden+Kennedy?
I work on Target, though have already worked on a bunch of other things too. I love the variety. Bring it on.
Easy question, what do you outside of work?
When my knee isnt hurt (long story): Riding horses, riding bikes (mtb, road, cyclocross), playing soccer, running around. And otherwise I like to spend my time doing a billion other things: drawing, silkscreening, cranking letterpresses and of course hanging with friends, drinking coffee, dancing, rapping Salt N Pepa songs in karaoke and cooking food. Is it too nerdy to include board gaming on this list? Also this: onedaynever.com which MAYBE one day will get updated and I now write a blog about being new to portland www.newtoportland.tumblr.com
What’s a random, fun fact that others would love to hear?
My family is mega famous in bollywood! My cousin was on the cover of GQ India!!!!Also can flip my lower eyelids inside withOUT using my hands. It’s less gross than it sounds.
What do you love to do?
Draw. Print. Explore abandoned placesTake photos w my new Fuji instax (newest polaroid like instamatic!). Dig through vintage shops. Play sports. Talk shit while watching sports. Cook food for friends. Dance all night. In general: have a blast.
If you could interview one other person in the studio, who would it be and why?
I’m too new to know hardly anyone’s name! So, maybe we could make a giant spinny arrow and have everyone stand in a circle around it. Whoever it lands on, that’s who I’m interviewing (because life is chaos). OR we line up everyone in the studio and have a running race. Whoever wins, I want to interview (because I like winners). Or wait…one last idea, I will interview whoever is responsible for drawing the Levis type, if that person is in studio, because that is the kind of stuff I want to be doing!
What’s the best thing that ever happened to you?
Being at the game to witness the Phillies win the World Series in 2008. Life altered.
